These engines were the new Holden Blue engines. (XT5)
The major changes to the sixes were new cylinder heads, exhaust headers, stronger conrods and redesigned pistons. The 3.3L also got a 12 counterweight crankshaft. Both V8s now have a Quadrajet four-barrel carburretor, new manifolding and a change in camshaft timing.
